About
My most recent book of poems is The Least Important Man, from Biblioasis, and before that I published a book of poetry called Making Bones Walk (2007).
My essays and articles have appeared on sites such as Nthposition, and in newspapers and journals such as The Globe and Mail. From 2003 to 2008, I hosted the IV Lounge Reading Series in Toronto, presenting fiction readers alongside poets, and eventually co-edited IV Lounge Nights, an anthology to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the series.
I’m the editor of Northern Poetry Review, established in April, 2006, and in 2008 I began Digital Popcorn, a site for personal film reviews.
More recently, I helped establish the Best Canadian Essays series, co-editing the first two collections of outstanding work from Canadian magazines. You can follow updates and assorted links on Twitter: @alexboydwriter
